It’s been 3 days since Ondoy and only 3 days left for Peping. Because I’ve been working non-stop with my family in relief centers and in Cainta, I’ve gotten paranoid. There is no way of being ‘secure’. PAGASA is shitty for me. How many times has PAGASA failed us? Too many to count. There is no way to ‘know’. Do not underestimate mother nature. It always pays to be prepared, may it be this friday or in the next 5 years. You can laugh at me later.

BATTLE PLAN FOR HOUSE:

1. Whistle, open gate/door if possible to save neighbors and other people.

2. Each member does his/her own job —  get the cat, get the dog, cut the circuit breakers, get the electronics, pull plugs (etc.)

3. Survival Bags are stored in one place second floor

4. Order of rooftop line: michael (lightest load), may, mom, camille, mark (might carry other loads if too late), dad and eric (hardest tasks: circuit breakers, etc)

5. All procedures are rehearsed, memorized before Oct 2, night. (peping—ETA Oct 3)

6. Practice trying not to shout, scream or panic. Imagine the situation. Do not freeze Focus on your goal.

7. Use your instincts and save the others as well! :)
